Meet the Team

  • Michele Muenzenmay

    OWNER and FOUNDER

Michele has been active in the business for over 45 years. Starting off as a hobby during the summer months, Michele loved working with new riders and young horses. The hobby soon became a passion and in 1975, Michele and her late husband Bill Muenzenmay formed Dunham Woods Farms, Inc.

Since then, DWF has produced many top level show horses and riders. With numerous wins at the most prestigious of Horse Shows such as Madison Square Garden, HITS Ocala, Kansas Royal, Capitol City, Pennsylvania National, Trader’s Point and others, Michele and her team are still turning out Champions and loving every step of the way.

Michele loves working with young horses and riders,
    developing them into future champions.

  • Rose Muenzenmay

    TRAINER and IEA COACH

Rose has had a lifetime of experience with hunters, jumpers and equitation riders and horses. She began riding at the age of 2 under the instruction of her parents Michele and Bill Muenzenmay and started competing at age 5. After graduating from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, Rose stepped away from the horse business to explore the corporate world.

After 10 years, she returned to help run the family business, actively training at the farm and horse shows, managing horse shows, working with the IEA team, as well as heading barn operations and administration.

Rose is passionate about turning out top quality riders and horses
and having fun while doing it!
